Day 1: WELCOME TO IZMIR

After a comfortable flight, your private travel assistant will escort you to your hotel and help you with the check-in procedures.

Dinner in Kadifekale.

Night stay in one of the best hotels in Izmir.



Day 2: PERGAMON - THYATIRA

The sacred tour begins city of Pergamon, one of the most wonderful ancient cities in the world. Following the traces of early Christianity, we visit the small town of Thyatira. In the evening, we return to Izmir and enjoy the Aegean food.

Pergamon (Revelation 2:12-17): Ancient city of Pergamon was founded by the colonists from the Aegean coast. During the Roman era, Pergamon played an important role regarding the early days of Christianity. In the Book of Revelation, the city is mentioned with the famous quote “I know where you live, where the throne of the Satan is…” As you visit Pergamon, you will also see Acropolis, Theater, Temple of Trajan, Pergamon Library and Asklepieion.

Thyatira (Revelation 2:18-29): Thyatira was a small town in the ancient times. Currently, we can hardly see the remains, as the modern city of Akhisar was built here. Akhisar means “White Castle”, mentioning about the old castle. This small town contains the traces of early Christianity and one of the seven churches of revelation.

Day 3: IZMIR – EPHESUS – IZMIR

Today, we are going to discover the city of Ephesus. In Ephesus we will see St. John’s Basilica, House of the Virgin Mary, Temple of Artemis and Isa Bey Mosque.

Ephesus (Revelation 2:1-7): Queen of all the ancient cities, Ephesus was the city where Saint Paul had preached the ways of Jesus Christ. Ephesus is also known to be the hosting city to Third Ecumenical Council in 431 A.C. Inside Ephesus, you will discover the Library of Celsus, Harbor Street, marketplace and one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Temple of Artemis. The Ephesus tour continues with information about Islam and 14th century Isa Bey Mosque. Finally you’ll reach St. John’s basilica and the famous House of the Virgin Mary (Mother Mary’s House in Turkish). It is believed that Virgin Mary lived there during her stay in Ephesus. The House is a small Byzantium church, and today it is accepted by Pope as a holy place of pilgrimage for Christian religion.

Dinner and night stay in Izmir.



Day 4: SARDIS – PHILADELPHIA

You are going to visit the cities of Persian Royal Road. The day ends with a relaxing hamam and wonderful massage.

Sardis (Revelation 3:1-6): Sardis used to be the capital of Lydian Empire and the residence of King Croesus. King Croesus was famous for standardizing and issuing the first true gold coins as currency. Sardis was also among the cultural and political centers in the ancient world. At the same time, Sardis was the ending point to the Persian Royal Road (King’s Road in Turkish). Finally, Sardes was also known with its large synagogue and famous Temple of Artemis surviving until this day.

Philadelphia (Revelation 3:7-13): Philadelphia, the city of brotherhood, was founded by King Eumenes II. The king loved his brother so much that he named the city Philadelphia, which means “brotherly love”. The city was built on the terraces above the valley, from which the Persian Royal Road passes; and it is one of the seven churches of revelation. You can visit the ruins from the St. John basilica.

Night stay in a 5* Thermal Hotel in Pamukkale. Relaxing with hamam and a nice massage after a beautiful day.



Day 5: PAMUKKALE – LAODICEA

Today, we will visit Laodicea and witness the traditional art of carpet weaving. After the travel with beautiful scenery, we reach to Antalya in the evening.

Laodicea (Revelation 3:14-22): City of Laodicea was the center of economy during Roman ages. It was also known as the city hosting to one of the seven apocalyptical churches of Christianity. It was rediscovered during the archeological excavations by University of Pamukkale. The city is wonderful with its temples, theaters, nymphaeums and ancient streets surviving to this day.

Carpet Weaving: A tradition of hundreds of years… You can learn about the carpet weaving tradition in Turkey, as you pass through the skirts of Taurus Mountains. You can witness to works of art on silk, cotton and wool carpets and be amazed by the craftsmanship.

After travelling alongside a beautiful scenery, we will reach to Antalya from the Turkish Riviera in the evening. Dinner at the hotel or a nice local restaurant reserved for you. Overnight in Antalya.


Day 6: ANTALYA – OLD CITY – YACHT MARINA

Antalya, the city that makes the mythological figures jealous, the center of tourism in Turkey and a paradise on earth…

Antalya Old City Tour: The city of Antalya is one of the most beautiful cities in the Turkish Riviera. It is famous with its magnificent Port, Old City, Hadrian Gate, Palm Boulevard, Clock Tower and the Cumhuriyet (Republic) Square, not to mention the scenic streets, the blue sea and Turkish-Mediterranean cuisine.

Dinner at the hotel or a nice local restaurant reserved for you. Overnight in Antalya.



Day 7: ANTALYA

A cultural tour in Antalya... You’ll discover one of the most important museums on the Mediterranean, local manufacturers and the city of ancient Perge.

Ancient Perge: Avenue surrounded by huge columns, public bath & hamam, Grand Theater of the ancient Perge city marvels its visitors. You can notice the remains from ancient Greece, Anatolian civilizations and Roman Empire.

Local Manufacturers: Antalya hosts one of the most experienced jewelry manufacturers in Turkey. You will be amazed by the designs and the variety.

Archeological Museum: Built on 7000m2 area and having 13 halls, the Archeological Museum is one of the most important museums on the Mediterranean. The museum depicts Mediterranean civilizations in a historical order.

Dinner at the hotel or a nice local restaurant reserved for you. Overnight in Antalya.



Day 8: GOOD BYE
